 WORK HOURS: Position No. 1: Part-time; 16 hours/week

SALARY: *Ordinarily Resident (OR): $54,010,884 COP (See Note 3)  (starting annual salary) Position Grade: LCP/FSN-9  **Not-Ordinarily Resident (NOR): $50,544 USD (See Note 3)  (starting annual salary) (Position Grade: FP-5) to be confirmed by  Washington depending upon funding availability

 Note 3: Annual salary information shown above in COP and USD  are established for full-time positions (40 hrs/week) in accordance with the Embassy’s current pay scale. The annual salary amount  for these two part-time positions will be proportional to the number of hours worked. 

The U.S. Embassy is seeking two individuals for the position of Nurse in the Health Unit to work in Cartagena, Colombia. 

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION  
The incumbent will work as a member of the U.S. Embassy healthcare team providing nursing care to all authorized personnel. The incumbent will assist the Foreign Service Health Practitioner (FSHP) and Regional Medical Officer (RMO) in providing primary health care to Diplomatic staff and their families in Cartagena and Barranquilla. The RN triages and treats patients within the scope of nursing practice and refers others to the FSHP/ RMO or local medical provider. He/she performs administrative duties and is responsible for managing the Health Unit in Cartagena. 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
