The U.S. Embassy is seeking two individuals for the position of Nurse in the Health Unit to work in Cartagena, Colombia.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The incumbent will work as a member of the U.S. Embassy healthcare team providing nursing care to all authorized personnel. The incumbent will assist the Foreign Service Health Practitioner (FSHP) and Regional Medical Officer (RMO) in providing primary health care to Diplomatic staff and their families in Cartagena and Barranquilla. The RN triages and treats patients within the scope of nursing practice and refers others to the FSHP/ RMO or local medical provider. He/she performs administrative duties and is responsible for managing the Health Unit in Cartagena.
